County Waterford benefits from excellent transport links.   This makes it an easy base from which to plan any journey, whether in Ireland or abroad.  The County is well served by roads, air, sea and rail access. 

Air

Sea
Rosslare Ferryport, just 90 minutes from the County town, has scheduled services daily to Wales, Pembroke with Irish Ferries and Fishguard with Stenaline, and France, Cherbourg and Roscoff, France with Irish Ferries

Cork Ferryport, situated at Ringaskiddy, has scheduled services operated by Swansea Cork Ferries to Wales and Brittany Ferries to Roscoff, France.  Further information on scheduled services is available from Brittany Ferries and Swansea Cork Ferries

Rail
Irish Rail provides regular services from Waterford to Dublin through its Intercity Service. Further information and timetables are available on www.irishrail.ie

Bus
Bus Éireann operates an extensive service throughout the country and to/from towns in County Waterford through its local & rural bus services.  Expressway coach services will link Dungarvan to other cities and towns nationwide.
