18 Jul 2008 - Dungarvan Dramatic Club Erie Playhouse

Erie playhouse will stage three shows in Dungarvan Town Hall Theatre - one performance of "BROADWAY TODAY" a composer lyricist concert on Sunday, August 10th and two performances of the world's longest running musical "THE FANTASTICKS" on August 11th and 12th. All shows at 8pm nightly.

01 Apr 2008 - Jobs Boost from Lancaster Laboratories in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford

Lancaster Laboratories, one of the largest commercial analytical laboratories in the US, is expanding its operation in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. This investment follows Lancaster's acquisition in 2007 of Microchem Labs, an Irish company. It will result in the creation of 100 new high level positions over the next five years, with the support of IDA Ireland. The majority of these positions will require people at PhD, Masters and graduate level.

15 Jan 2008 - TOTEM take two awards at the Irish Design Effectiveness Awards

In November 2007 the Graphic Design Business Association hosted the annual Irish Design Effectiveness Awards (IDEAs) in the Irish Museum of Modern Art. The IDEAs are the graphic design Oscar’s, and TOTEM scooped another two awards this year.

18 Apr 2008 - 50 New Jobs Created in Dungarvan

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, is to invest a further e30 million in the expansion of its existing over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. The investment, supported by IDA Ireland, will create 50 new high quality jobs over three years in the production of a product to aid smoking cessation, for supply to all markets outside of North America. The jobs will be in areas of production, quality, technical and engineering.
