TOTEM take two awards at the Irish Design Effectiveness Awards
Date: 15 Jan 2008
In November 2007 the Graphic Design Business Association hosted the annual Irish Design Effectiveness Awards (IDEAs) in the Irish Museum of Modern Art. The IDEAs are the graphic design Oscar’s, and TOTEM scooped another two awards this year.
- A gold award for the outstandingly, imaginative and touching project – “My Life Story” – a ground-breaking life story book for the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland. The idea of a life history book was first mooted in 1997 and this inspired Andrea Lloyd to take on the task of researching and developing the project. The Alzheimer’s Society responded to her research by funding the design, creation and production of a first edition of My Life Story.
- TOTEM also won a silver award for its creative and dynamic branding work in Crew’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant in Dungarvan.
