I moved to Dungarvan after working in Dublin for 15 years. The main attraction was living in a cleaner, safer and friendlier environment, which would offer a better quality of life for my family and me. Having lived here for the last nine months I must say that the actual quality of life has far exceeded my expectations. The range of activities available is excellent; swimming, tennis, golf, fishing, horse riding, sailing, hill walking, to mention a few. These are all affordable and easily assessable.

The scenery in Waterford is also breath-taking, Mahon falls, the forests around Lismore, Tramore Bay, Clonea Strand and the Comeragh Mountains are a few places I have had the opportunity to enjoy and there are many, many more. There are few places in Ireland that have so much to see and enjoy.

The openness and friendliness of the people was also a surprise. We have been made welcome by everyone we have met and now have as many friends in Dungarvan as we had in Dublin. I would recommend life in Waterford to anyone.
